julianna, (the expert gardener), i want to plant this plummish color plant that is a very hearty plant, it grows pretty quick and in the beginning it blooms these flowers but then loses them, it requires trimming, do you know what the name of this plant is? i want to get it to replace my dead bush.

It's 4AM Pacific Time and I'm grubbing on cold pizza and studying for finals with breaks here and there. I set up cameras today in the Kibbe Dome for commencement on Saturday. I do that in between two finals today. Then I'm sleeping all Thursday except for to get up and feed the kitties I'm house sitting. :luv: Love the two kitties! Plus she has internet at her house which is a bonus! I have one final left on Friday and I film commencement on Saturday from early morning to late afternoon. Yep I'm not busy pulling my hair out.

Hi all! Happy Hump Day and I hope the rest of this work week goes by fast!

I know this is a continued discussion from yesterday but I have a few questions:

Has anybody had a problem getting the SS card if their husband didn't get the EAD on arrival? I was wondering about this but my work is telling me that they require the letter that he is given when he applies to put him on my insurance so we will go on Friday. He will have been here 15 days by then. I was told we needed our marriage certificate, visa, passport, I 94 to bring to the office, anything else?

We went to pick up the temporary packet for his driving permit Monday and they told me that it would expire and as well as his drivers license will expire 7/23 and he would have to take the drivers test over again we should wait until he got his AOS. So we just picked up the book for him to study on. Is this common? I'm with you Ayesha, this driving thing is scary. I haven't let my husband drive yet and told him he is waiting until he gets his permit...nothing illegal no chances!

Olivia, great to see you around again! I hope all is well with you and hubby and you are successful in your finals.

Good luck to the others! Have a wonderful day!

BTW---I fixed up Wendy's for dinner last night! He ate it and didn't have probs with it! Of course not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOLLLLLLLLLLL

Happy Hump Day to all !!

Olivia, it is so nice to see you posting. I missed you, girl !

Maureen, I am sure the expert will be able to identify your plant species for you. If you need help in the clean up , just ask Mrs. Weiser. Im sure she would be more than willing to help out. Rain you say?? Oh I hope not!

HLM, don't worry, it's getting better...just you wait and see.

AJ1, hope you feel better and let us know as soon as you get your news! Im still praying!

TandA, you have a wonderful day, too!......

Also, MohamedandMelinda and Bridget.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I don't know about the EAD stamp since we're on a different visa but all my work required was a copy of his passport stating the date that he arrived in the US since that is the date his benefits and my change of status starts. I guess each company is different though but see if they'll accept that instead? Good luck!

Still sneezing more than ever here. I'm getting sick of the aaaaaaachooooooooooo's!!!:wacko::wacko:

My hubby didn't get EAD on arrival and had no problems getting SSN. It just takes a couple of weeks from their arrival to get "in the system". By Friday, your hubby should be in their system and you *should* have no worries! Good luck!

BTW, Ash... you're HOT!:rofl: , no seriously... you are!

Good morning all!!! Off to a busy day at work for me, after I make some waffles, that is! :luv:
