I just checked my account this morning and the check has been cashed.

So Application sent on May 8th and money out of my account on May 13th.

My N-400 package arrived last Friday (May 8), but my check hasn't been cahed yet! I am starting to worry a little... I realized I made the check payable to *Department of Homeland Security", forgetting to add *US*. Do you think they can return an application just for that omission?

No need to worry they will cash it, It may take a little over a week but they need the money, keep us updated.

Don't worry, Vermont took forever to cash my check, too (see my sig below) but the pace has picked up since then.

Just received my NOA1 and says interview within 450 days.... I know everyone has different days in NOA.... Is it really that long it takes ? or its just random days.....

Hey guys, just thought I'd let you know my check was successfully cashed. It took 8 calendar days after the package got there.

We mailed ours in on May 7th, check cashed May 16th. Just waiting on the NOA....

Update

On Friday 16th May received letter saying application being processed within 425 days!!!! arrrrghhhh

Also, Biometrics appointment for the end of May. ( pretty swift with that one.)

Fingers crossed interview will be well within 425 days. Here's hoping

When I got home from work I found hubby's 10 yr green card in the mail!! whoo-hooo!!! And... a 'receipt with exception' for the N-400, it states our app was received and is in process but is missing some evidence (I can't believe it!!! I printed out the check list of what to send and we sent it all!) that we will need to bring with us at the time of his interview. They will send us another notice of what to bring to the interview, don't send anything by mail. Fine. The notice also stated to expect to be notified within 240 days of this notice. We also received an NOA for his biometrics, he goes May 30th at 10:00 am. So here we go again.... let's see this makes at least 3, maybe 4 times we've gone for fingerprinting in the last 4 1/2 years....
