Our AOS has not been touched since 03/20

There has been no news on the interview or the transfer.......... is there a 3rd way they process the AOS???

How long is the entire AOS process on average...from looking at the timelines i was estimating it to be around 3-4 months.......but my goodness.

Look at all the people who filed before you before you freak out.

Around 3-4 month is not the average time. 6 month is more like it, but it has increased in the past year.

I'm sorry but I'm seeing too many people lately who complain about their AOS taking soooo long when you filed in 2008. When I see so many others who wait. There are people who never even have updates online until they receive something.

Oh and go there https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp select your local office (not the national one) and you will see how you should expect in your case.

AOSs vary greatly in processing times.

Some 2 months without an interview to over a year if name checks and other investigations happen.

Ours took about 3 months with an interview but may have still been out there if I had not called our local center. Their computers crashed and screwed up my wife and daughters case losing record nof it!

This was after the interview when they said they were approved and would get GCs in 2 weeks.

A month went by with no GCs and I called our local center. I'd gotten the number at our interview!

Neel I think as everyone said it is a process and it takes time. I am expecting 6 months and hoping not more than 9. I know your AOS is a month ahead of mine but I too have had no touches on my ASO since March 27, and at that it is only like 2 touches period and I think this is not that unusual I have read where many get no touches just thier letter saying card production ordered. So hand in there.

I agree with Cecy. Just be patient.

I personally sent in my AOS on 27 July 2007. Had my biometrics in November where it was last touched. In March I received my interview notice (no touches online). Interview was April 17th in which I got an RFE. So by the time I get my joint sponsor's info and sent in it should be approved hopefully sometime in May, making my process almost 10 months.

Other people like Cecy applied before me and are still waiting to hear anything. People getting approved in a couple of months are very few and far between. The majority of people are taking at least 6 - 12 months which is what USCIS had on a press release on their website not so long a go.
