Are you talking about NVC fee ?

If yes, I-864 AOS fee is $70. Immigrant Visa (IV) fee is $400.

Hope this helps out. Please use online system for payment to speed up things :star:

I just called NVC live operator and succeeded to get her. Our DS-3032 had been generated on 04/28/2008, but AVR was stupid and it didn't mention it. Anyway, email has been reached today and going to express mail the completed DS-3032 tomorrow morning.

NVC is super express. If it goes in this pace, I hope in 1.5 months, everything must be done. Just a hope :star::star::star:

Well I wouldn't say its obsolete just yet. Some folks are still having ahard time getting that IIN, so James Shortcuts could help them out. I used JS for my AOS, but found out about the online system the next day so I used online for IV bill and sending in DS230. The online system does seem to speed things up.

However I wonder if its fast now just cause we are the first few people trying the online system out. Once EVERYONE uses the online system I would presume to think that NVC may not be able to keep up with the influx of applications and start processing a bit slower.

Hi Lotofpatiece,

Congrats on the fast track in NVC... I have a question for you:

I know we have to pay the AOS fee of $70 and the IV proccessing fee of $400. Now are these two invoices issued at the same time and have the same IIN? Meaning do you have to call NVC once only and get one IIN and you'd be able to pay both bills online? or do you have to call them two separate times?

Thanks and good luck,

Iyad

5/13/08 Email Reply from VNC accepting DS3032 and they said don't send a hard copy. Email alone was OK

05/16/08 Mailed my AOS/I864 package.

Iyad, you need only one IIN to pay both fee. When you log in, you can see the status for payment. If it shows INVOICED, pay immediately. When it shows PAID, print out barcode coversheet and mail the forms.

Hey :) The way I went about both of those things was purely electronically ... I would suggest emailing the DS-3032 information to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov (caps not required). There is a template on the wiki here at VJ for choice of agent email :)

Regarding the AOS - if the bill is invoiced online and you can see it, that implies you have your IIN ... If so, go ahead and pay it with your bank account information and have the receipt emailed to both of you (that's what I did) ... you can also print out the receipt instantly. It will say "IN PROCESS" for about 2 business days, and then go to a status of "PAID". Once this happens, you will have the option on the online payment site to print out the coversheet - this includes the much alluded to barcode that you have to send with your paperwork ... There is no need to "make" your own barcode, as it is provided online by the DOS and is unique to your case ... Send your stuff to the address on the barcode coversheet and you're good to go :) I also wrote a cover letter describing the contents of my AOS packet (all the proof I was sending, etc) ...

Hope that's helpful!

Oh - one more thing - it takes about a week for the beneficiary to receive an email response "accepting" the choice of agent ... It was exactly a week for me, and I think someone mentioned that emails tend to come on Mondays ... hope that's useful info ...

LOTO has been SUPER helpful, and thanks to his advice, I'm nearly done w/ the NVC process!

To take some of the heat and responsibility off LOTO, I'm happy to advise regarding the online payment process to help people out :)

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Hello rajee

My 3032 is on the way to my wife and the aos bill has been generated. I was going to just wait for the the bill to arrive and pay it online. I figure it should arrive soon. Am I wrong? Also, what do you suggest: should we email the 3032 or mail it. I have 3032 here in the states and my wife has signed it. I dont feel comfortable making a barcode.

Rickie

Hey :) The way I went about both of those things was purely electronically ... I would suggest emailing the DS-3032 information to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov (caps not required). There is a template on the wiki here at VJ for choice of agent email :)

"

Im sorry. What do you mean "if the bill is invoiced online"? Are you saying I can find it online? Can you give me a link?

Thank you for being so helpful :) You are doing so well with your processing. I want to follow in your foot steps.
