Timeline

i remember sometime ago the fee was alot cheaper, im about to submit my I-129F this week, is the application fee $455 correct ??

and on the I-129F i am not familiar with question number 20 it says

20. Your fiance will apply for a visa aboard at the American Embassy or Consulate at:

City_______ Country ________

my fiance lives in Mexico, im really confused about this question can anyone give me the answer and help my understand it ?

I-129F Sent : 05-08-08

VSC Recieved I-129F: 05-10-2008

I-129F NOA1 : 05-20-2008

Check Cleared: 05-23-2008

Touched : 06-26-2008

Touched : 06-27-2008

I-129F NOA2 : 09-12-2008

NVC Received: 09-17-2008

Consulate Received : 10-10-2008

Consulate Mailed Packet to Fiance : 12-18-2008 - PACKET NEVER ARRIVED

Medical Exams In Juarez : 01-15-2009

Consulate Interview : 01-16-2009

Visa Finally Granted : 01-21-2009 - AFTER CONSULATE LOST PASSPORT FOR A FEW DAYS !!!!!!

POE at JFK Airport in New York : 02-01-2009

Petition/Application fees went up significantly on July 30, 2007.

Ciudad Juarez is the only consulate in MX that issues "K" visas.

Yep.. it used to be 170 usd (if I remember correctly.. I'm too lazy to look it up lol) but last summer they raised it up to 455 usd, which is what it costs now :/

N400 Timeline:

12/14/11 - Sending out N400 package

12/19/11 - Received by USCIS

12/21/11 - NOA date

12/22/11 - Check cashed

12/27/11 - Received NOA

02/06/12 - Received yellow letter (pre-interview case file review)

03/13/12 - Placed in line for interview scheduling (3 yr anniversary)

03/17/12 - Received interview letter

04/17/12 - Interview - No decision, application under further review

04/17/12 - Biometrics

04/25/12 - Placed in line for oath scheduling (so I'm approved yay!)

04/27/12 - Received oath ceremony date

05/09/12 - Oath ceremony!!
