Oh yeah baby. He was licensed in OR and UT; then moved to Canada and exchanged for an AB license. Came back here and voila: take the test or else. Needless to say, the redhead was not pleased :protest:

OMG!! That sucks! So I guess that means If we decided to move back to BC that I would have to take mine over again, because I surrendered my BC DL to get a free BCID after I learned it was useless here.. haha both my husband and I would have to take it again. And BC is so strict now, with their million question knowledge tests, and 2 road tests to pass..

I believe we drove the highway. We definitely did the parallel park. We also did the rather peculiar manoeuvre or backing around a corner on a street with traffic - to simulate backing into a parking space. I think it would have been safer to back into a parking space myself.

I'm in Bellingham and my road test was about 15 minutes long, I had to parallel park between two orange cones in the DMV parking lot (that was interesting) and then we drove around a neighborhood near by. He had me do a few things like park down a hill and back around a corner. We did not go on the highway

I just called the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division about the requirements in order to obtain Arizona driver's license. The lady told me that I only need to show them my passport and Canadian driver's license and I mus take the written test and if I passed the test, they will issue a friver's license based on the length of my stay. I don't need to take the road test again, it's cool!

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

That is what you are saying now. Make sure you study! I have been driving for 7 years and still managed to fail the test twice. I had no clue how to measure feet or miles in my head.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard
