When you have a K1 you must marry with in 3 month?

Yes.

Some people arrange to travel immediately after the K-1 is issued. Others wait to get things in order and make arrangements to travel later. You have 6 months after the date of your visa to enter the US. It will actually state how long it is good for.

Once you step foot in the U.S., you have 90 days to marry.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

The word "typically" refers to the possibility that visa validity times can vary according to the reciprocity agreements the US has with a given country. I've seen no variation in K1 validity times but there may be or could be in the future or may have been in the past. From Canada you definintely have six months to use the visa. You may only use it one time.
