Filling I-129F form..questions with blank or "No" answers

put "none" or "N/A". the example forms are very handy.

Unless it is a specific yes or no question, you should answer none or N/A if it doesn't apply to you at all.

That being said, I was looking back over the forms we mailed in for the K-1. On questions about Andre's dad, who we believe is deceased, we did write UNKNOWN in a few spots. None, N/A, No, and blank were not appropriate because he did have a dad. We just didn't know anything about him. And, I did write believe to have died in 2000 in the one spot.

There are not always black and white answers for every question. Answer to the best of your ability with appropriate answers and be prepared to answer questions about ones you answered above the norm.

I freaked out for 2 months because I was convinced I was going to get an RFE for leaving some blanks. It turns out that I didn't, but I'd definitely say leave no blanks. If it doesn't apply, just put N/A and if you have none, put None

I am filling out the petition and biiography forms now and am completely paranoid about leaving blanks. My fiance doesn't have a middle name, but I am scared to put "None" for fear they will think his middle name is None! I called the cust. serv. hotline and they said to put "no middle name". Also, questions where it asks like "Husband/wife name" I put "none" but then do I have to fill out the rest of the blanks (i.e. date of marriage, etc..) if I already put none?

I guess it's just good practice to leave NO box blank?
