I don't know about Eldorado, but these people have lived in Utah for more than 100 years - those in Texas are a part of that.

I would think that since it is rare to let "newbies/outsiders" into this LDS group and each man is allowed more than one wife AND the teen boys who are of puberty have reportedly been banished, then aren't these members somehow distantly related and committing incest by marrying/bearing children?

They kick most of the teenage boys out - having to fend for themselves at a very young age with no real education or skills

They can do what they want on their own property as long as its within the laws of the federal, state, and local governments. Polygamy is not legal. It is actually one of the questions on the petition for K1 because if you checked it, it would be grounds for denial of petition.

I'm not sure how prostitution is legal in some areas outside of Las Vegas though. Maybe there is no federal law for that?
