Well... I've got my NOA 2 on April 17th and haven't heard from NVC yet... I've seen I'm not the only one, though! I sent an e-mail to them yesterday and had no reply...

Only Vermont cases have been fowarded faster to NVC... :unsure:

Who is still waiting and who have already had the papers sent to NVC?

--> Jan 27th, 2006 - Sent the petition to Nebraska SC.

--> Jan 31st, 2006 - 1st NOA received by mail.

--> April 20th, 2006 - 2nd NOA in snail mail!

--> May 5th, 2006 - NVC received and left

--> May 24th, 2006 - Pack. 3 received and left (never received package 4, so the Embassy sent me its content by e-mail)

--> June 26th, 2006 - Medical in São Paulo (Dr. Celso Rodrigues Fava)

--> July 11th - Interview APPROVED!! :D

--> July 13th - Visa in hand

AOS

--> Novr 11th, 2006 - Sent AOS and EAD forms

--> Nov 17th, 2006 - NOA 1

--> Dec 4th, 2006 - Biometrics (appt. letter rec. in 11/24)

--> Nov 28th, 2006 - RFE received

--> Jan, 8th, 2007 - RFE sent

--> Jan, 30th, 2007 - EAD card received

--> Mar, 13th, 2007 - Interview - Pending Security Checks

--> July, 16th, 2007 - USCIS site: Security checks cleared. Welcome Letter in the way!

--> July, 26th, 2007 - GREEN CARD IN THE MAIL!!! (done with USCIS until 04/2009)

Removing Conditions on Residency

--> April 16th, 2009 - Sent I-751 Application to California Service Center

--> May 8th, 2009 - NOA received (1 year extension letter]

--> June 1st, 2009 - Biometrics appt. letter received

  • My fiance (Jamber on VJ) called NVC this morning, and they still have not received ours (from CSC) either. We have the same NOA2 date as you.
    I hope it's soon, for all of us waiting!

January 19 2006 I-129F sent to TSC (Day 1)

- (Subsequently transferred to CSC)

January 27 2006-NOA1 (Day 9)

January to April - Tried to keep her patient and calm as we waited!

April 17 2006 - NOA2 (Day 89)

... 91 days ...

July 17 2006 - NVC ~ After 91 days, FINALLY received by NVC! (Day 180)

July 21 to August 8 2006 - Flew down to visit Amber in Florida (ZERO problems at border)

Jul 25 2006 - Packet 3 received

August - ABANDONED PROCESS

September 14, 2006- AOS package filed

September 20, 2006 - NOA1 for both AOS & EAD

September 27, 2006 - Biometrics appt letter recieved

October 5, 2006- Biometrics taken

October 10, 2006 - both I485 & EAD touched

November 1, 2006 - I485 touched

November 21, 2006 - still waiting ......

December 7,8,9 - touched

December 11, 2006- approval notice via email

December 15, 2006 - EAD arrives in mail with the wrong dates (03/21/07-03/20/08)

December 18, 2006 -InfoPass re: wrong dates (fixing the card will take another 90 days...)

January 13, 15, 2007-both I485, EAD touched

February 25, 2007 - Initial interview letter recieved in mail

April 18, 2007-Interview!

May 7, 2007- Approval notice sent

May 11, 2007-Permanent Residency Card arrived in mail

February 2, 2009- I -751 filed

February 6, 2009- NOA received

April 8, 2009- I 751 approved!

June 20, 2009- GC received

WHOA! It's such an atypical delay... You really must check what's going on ASAP! I wish they can find out the problem and send your papers real quick to your Consulate! Good luck! :luv:

2/7/06: NOA 1

4/17/06: NOA 2 - Notified by email; petition approved on April 13th

4/20/06: Received NOA 2 via snail mail

5/19/06: Still waiting on NVC to receive approved 129-F....(what's the hold up)

6/10/06: Involved congress person

6/19/06: Rec'd letter stating that inquiry was made to both NVC and USCIS regarding status of my petition

6/21/06: Travelled to go see my better half (boy was I excited)

7/3/06: Left my love once again (hopefully we shall see eachother soonest)

7/10/06: Followed up with congress person

7/10/06: Notified case was sent to the wrong place (go figure...how does it take 90 days to push paper from one location to the next) and has now been forwarded to NVC

7/18/06: NVC received case and has now issued a case number

7/20/06: NVC forwarded case to embassy

7/28/06: Lagos embassy confirms receipt of case into system

8/1/06: Pick up packet 3 and 4

8/25/06: Interview Date

The NVC have told me that it can take between 2-4 weeks for them to receive a case from CSC..how can it possibly take that long?

Keep your chins up, I just checked ours and we have received new case numbers and been entered into NVC system as of the 3rd May and we were approved at CSC on the 17th April.

I think it must work the same way as the CSC, they just have a whole box full arrive and they will not be in any particular order (date wise) so hold on you will hear :thumbs: soon I hope
