Don't worry - the plane will have another 200 or 300 passengers, its up to you to strike up a conversation with someone and talk all the way to SF. Have Fun and bring a thick book in case you don't find anyone.

You could try some of these suggestions from various websites:

- Jumping jacks in the aisle

- Read a very long novel

- Crossword puzzle, soduku, etc

- Drink yourself to sleep

- Plan out the rest of the year on notepad

- Strike up convo with someone nearby

* I ended up talking to a lady in her 50's that pretty much did this process when she was my age (early 20's)

- Sketch some drawings on your notepad

- Try to get your fellow passengers to sing along to nursey rhymes (lol)

- If your neighbor is foreign as well, try to learn a few basic words of their language? (I like this idea)

It's normal, Filipinos are friendly and would love to have some companies especially knowing it would be from VJ community.

I'm not understanding why this is odd, haha. I HATE airplane rides myself, and can tolerate them a lot easier if I have company as well. It's no fun to sit on an airplane for like 15 hours alone watching the same movies over and over again.

You're right it is nice to have a friend by your side. I just thought it was odd to have someone randomly asking here on VJ. Maybe if they knew a few of the people here really well that is more understandable.
