We sent our AOS package on January 29, 2008, biometrics on March 5th, 2008. Already received AP and EAD card, but the last touch for the actual AOS was on March 5th (right after the biometrics) and no news since that time. We see people getting transferred to CSC very quickly, and ours is still at National Benefits Center. Is this unusual? Should we go for infopass (it is a 650 - mile drive for us)?

not all cases will be transferred to California.

If you are lucky your case will be but it is not for sure.

They probably pick cases randomly to transfer them.

Since your biometrics was march 5th I do not see anything you should worry about!

Our case was similar. We sent everything the first day of May and hubby's biometrics were May 30th...then....NOTHING. We were never transferred to CSC and there were NO touches.

Then all of a sudden, in the end of NOVEMBER, we received an interview date for January.

Hubby was approved at the interview and the GC was in the mail in a few days.

It's hard, but be patient. We were one of the last May filers to be approved.

Sent our AOS/EAD/AP Jan 5, received Jan 7 and NOAs sent Jan 10. Biometrics happened early Feb then EAD/AP approved/arrived early March. There's nothing yet that informs us whether our AOS has been transferred to CSC or we are going to have interview soon. Still waiting...
