Anyone who was touched on April 22? This is the last update that shows on the USCIS website... one month ago. I know touches don't really mean anything, but it would be nice to know about others who are in our same box.

Hi

Touched April 23 and nothing yet

(No news is good news!! )

Guess we're all in the same box then!

NOA1 March 31st and touched April 23... and waiting

I've been checking this site pretty regularly (ok, this might be an understatement :innocent: ), but first post today

Fingers crossed for everybody who's still waiting...

C'mon Vermont, lets kick it up a notch!

Hi guys!!!! Quick update on the job situation.

Got the contract emailed through this morning. £13.08 an hour for at least 50 hours a week. Whick works out to over £500 a week after the lovely UK Government have got their hands on it. They are offering 4-8 weeks just now with more after if I want it, so they can keep them coming till I get my medical and interview!! So I'm going for a meeting with guy on Monday and flying up to start the job on Tuesday at 7am. So I've decided to fly out of here on Sunday so I get in to Glasgow on Monday morning and I'm just going to go right for the meeting with the agency. Couldn't of worked out any better.

Fingers crossed for all the filers at Vermont, we are thinking of you all.

And Kim, well done the Celtics, at least I'll still be here to see the Pens take on the Red Wings on Saturday night. Oh and still go for proper beer on Saturday during the day!!!!

Graham.... sounds like a wonderful opportunity to make some $$$ ! Congratulations! I'm sure Megan will get through the next couple of months just fine. ;) She stays with her grandparents?

..... although, i'm not sure the xbox gods will handle it too well.

Congrats Graham that sounds like such an ideal opportunity. Good Luck

Kin .... do you know what colored panties I have on too ? :D

xxx

Based only on what I know of you...i'd say you're surely going commando! realbooty.gif:rofl:

Yeah she does stay with her grandparents, although her her parents only live about 5 minutes away (both with new partners). The Xbox gods will be fine, her cousin wants me to send it up to him so he can keep it in use while I'm away!! We both think it's for the best especially with the little one on the way, a great oppurtunity to get stuff for him/her and pay for the AOS fees!!!!

I'm excited about the first approval too, but I'll spoil the fun just a little...

Really, doesnt distance SUCK?

I left my love yesterday, do you all also cry your hearts out saying goodbye at the airport? I feel like I'm gonna die, I'm so depressed!

But the way, I visited him in the US, no problem on the POE whatsoever

Yes, it does suck! And yes, we do cry ...it's tragic really. :(

When he got 'das boot' in September of last year we had a quick 'see you soon' at the airport assuming he'd be back home in two days. Wasn't to be. :( When I learned he was sent home to NZ and almost instantly knew it would be about a year before we were together again (i was waiting out a divorce) I felt as though a truck had hit me and that my heart was ripped from my body. :( We had been living together for a year and a half at that point and I was just used to his presence in our lives here. It took some time to adjust, even now...I just feel in limbo. My mother, bless her heart, financed a trip down to NZ for her and I in Jan/Feb of this year as a gift to help 'heal' me and to meet Russell's family. We had a wonderful visit but the goodbye at the airport was the absolute worse. I flew premium and the agent let Russell into the holding area for a final 'goodbye' because we were both crying so hard. :( 3 weeks out of the last 8 months we've been together...and this after sharing our days and nights...our everything...for so long. It's just not enough... it's never enough.

I certainly have my moments but I make a conscious effort every day to try to keep a positive attitude. I know that's much harder to do when everything is so fresh ...where you are now, I suppose. But as time passes we take all we can get and we learn to adjust to the waiting again. This time knowing it wont be too much longer before the day comes that we will never have to part again. :)

It will get easier. :) And before you know it you'll be back in each others arms ...better, stronger... and more ready for everything else life will have to throw your way.

Well said Kim.

The last time we parted, we promised each other.. that THIS would be our LAST goodbye.

And, now, already we are toying with the idea of meeting next month. The separation is so

difficult. It doesnt get easier, but yes, when its Fresh its so much worse.

Each time we met and had to leave I cried for weeks. We want to see each other

so badly but know what it does to us.

I wish I had a crystal ball to tell me when this

K1 would go thru. I just want to get on with OUR life together.

God, I know how that feels. We only had a month together in 2007. I couldn't sleep a wink the night before because I was so anxious and upset. We managed to keep our cool even, up until he had to board his flight. Then we both just utterly fell apart. Sobbing like little girls with broken dolls, we were. It was such a mess.

Hopefully Vermont's got its lightning suppositories in heavy supply. I'm ready for him to be back, like, yesterday.

Congrats on the job offer Graham! Good luck with that B)

Being away from Luis SUCKS. I don't want to get all sob story on you guys, but saying goodbye to him was the hardest thing I've ever done. It's not hard to believe, this is the man who made me stop hating men, lol.

So we talk everyday on the phone, go to sleep at night without each other, it's hard. I know things are going to be hard when we're together too, but at least we'll have each other. Right now things just suck. I swear, if I didn't have my kids I don't know what I'd do. They're what keeps a smile on my face :D That and knowing that there are a bunch of people out there like me who are going through the same thing. I thank you guys for that.

:wow:

On another note, I'm trying to fix up my rinky dinky studio apartment so that when he gets here he doesn't feel like he lives in a shoebox. This is NY. I pay 1000 a month for this thing, lol.
