G-325A my signature or my fiances

I was finishing up my fiance's G-325A form. Does my fiance sign the bottom of that form or can i sign it....its gonna delay the process if i have to mail it to her and than she mails it back to me. And also the big black box where they want teh applicants name, is that my information of my fiances or do they want the petitioners information? Thanks

Well I guess you should sign your form and she should sign her one

Besides, you don´t have to mail it to her...she can go online and fill it out by herself (with your help if she needs it), print it out and send it to you...that shouldn´t delay the process for too long...maybe two weeks

Both you and your fiance have to fill out the G-325A, so for the fiance's one all the information is pertaining to her and she has to sign the form, doesn't matter if it delays you or not.

If you're talking about the black box at the end of the form where it asks you to print the name, that's hers too. And I've read before that people have gotten RFE's for typing that on the computer rather than handwriting that in, so make sure to handwrite that.

Be sure to send her about three copies of the form for her to sign. All signatures you send in have to be originals.

While you're at it, don't forget that you need to get a letter of intent to marry from her too, with her signature.

The G-325A is a personal biographical form. You each fill out and sign your own. As for as the black box, I entered the required name with a computer and did not receive any RFE, the directions state "Put" and not "Handwrite" on our forms.

We cheated and used a faxed G-325a, and got through ok, but we were just lucky, and I wouldn't recommend that. Like Scott/Marta said, she could get one mailed out tomorrow (assuming she has net access). Hopefully it won't hold you up for too long.

Welcome to the world of visa applications! Yep, as others suggested, have her print it up from Internet and mail to you after filling out and signing it. I had my fiance send like 10 signed copies, a few not filled out, in case I found mistakes or we changed things in filling it out before finally submitting the paperwork (which we did). Better safe than sorry!

When I was in Brazil (before we mailed out the forms) in '06 I had my husband sign everything...only to find mistakes on everything (an expired G-325A, the wrong address on the letter of intent...grrr).

So I mailed my husband a couple G-325As and he sent them back signed - the letter of intent he printed from an e-mail, signed it, and the mailed it back. This put us back a couple of weeks, but luckily for us I found the mistake on the G-325A while I was still getting everything together, so while we were waiting on the mail I was photocopying, printing, and signing my own stuff.

I mailed the G-325As since my husband did not know English at the time and I filled out everything for him.
