OOPS! Accidently hit enter :P

How is everyone doing today? I have a quick questions. Does the petitioner HAVE to attend the interview with the fiance? I ask this because I work full time and go to college full time; therefore, it is VERY challenging for me to get some time off to do this....I'm sure it can be arranged, but is this mandatory? I have read in other posts, but I can't really find a straight forward answer. I also want to know if I do not attend, can I send a signed letter to my fiance stating that I cannot attend due to school and work? Would it hurt my case if I don''t attend? I would hate to have it denied for something like that you know?

Still hoping and praying for those NOA2's!! Keep your head up you guys :) Time flies SUPER fast!

Morning Marchies

Morning Marchies

Hi Maria. Its not mandatory that you attend the interview don't worry. The embassy may request you attend although I believe this only happens after a refusal has been issued from the first interview. Read through the reviews on here, they will give you the best indication of how things go down at the interview stage.

Oh Erin sweetie, I'm glad you are feeling better, sorry you had to go through all that alone! I believe everything happens for a reason though and I'm glad you’re taking this time to look for a new job. Go and spend the four weeks in Chicago woman, everything will still be there to sort out when you get home!! Whatever you decide make sure you rest easy. I am dying for a break, just a few days off work to do me things...to do nothing at all. The last time I had time off was when Alan was here at Christmas

Aleena I Love Brighton too! I booked a hotel room at Gatwick the night before Alan left in Jan and rather than sitting in the hotel room crying all night I decided I would take him down to the coast for dinner. I think he enjoyed me marching him up and down the pier at 9pm on January 3rd although his face was so frozen he struggled to communicate his enjoyment to me in words. I haven’t seen the Sex in the City movie yet, I don't have any girlfriends left in the city anymore as they have all gone home from uni now. I would normally be socialising like a crazy woman and getting my phone book full of new numbers but it just doesn't seem worth it as I'm hoping to be gone in 2 months time.

Nic, my American mom, thank you for the medical info. Where would we all be without our Texan Mother Goose?!?!

I hope everyone is well.

Oh I am so happy I just shouted out across the office. Now I'm trying to type like I am excited because I just got a new client or something. Lol I can't wipe this grin off my face. I think this feeling actually equals how happy I was when we got ours.

YEY - The sun is shining here and Aleena has her NOA2 ... this day could only get better if Alan walked into my office. :)

Wow! I don't know what it's going to feel like when I get my approval, but I can FEEL your excitement all the way through this thread!!! :dancing: Congratulations!!! Your NOA1 was exactly one week before mine so let's hope all the late March approvals will come through by next week!!

I'm starting to freak out because I have to move back to the US in less than 2 months and leave my baby behind without me. :( I was hoping to already have the NOA2 by now so we could start working on all the other stuff that needs to get done for the interview while I am still here. Now I just hope I'll know the interview date by the time I have to leave...

Hi Jessica

I'm sure your NOA2 is on its way. Nics list is a pretty good indication of how things are going and they really seem to be working through based on your NOA1 date. Your lucky to be able to wait through this part with your SO its by far the most stressful and agitating period. I'm sending good vibes to VSC for you :idea::idea:

I'm still buzzing from your news Aleena :D

The western hemisphere starts waking up......

And I find you've been having a :dance: PARTY :dance: on here without me.

:wow: I am so happy for you Alina. SO HAPPY !! It does feel great.

I always start with Igor's list stats page and saw there were 3. I just was hoping so hard it was you as I clicked the VSC list.

I was working on my list last night and found some listed twice when you do a timeline search (Anais & Jack; S&W) New couple (Larisa & Stacy) I had to add but approved. Gina and Jeff must have updated because they are approved now. So March is about 62% through the gates.

I will have to post an updated list in honor of Aleena and use color because she wanted to be green.

Happy day and good luck guys.
