China embassy is standard processing. I wish it appointment post though. It will be a lot easy than waiting from the embassy it self.

It would take forever to get an embassy letter since there are alway backlog and sometime paper stuck at custom. or they store them at their warehouse until your case is call. as for appointment post you know when your appointment is and make sure everything is right.

i wish that this option change in the future for all the hassle that everyone else might have.

Coolgt, understand your case has moved to GUZ Embassy, not sure if you are still reading this forum.

You mentioned in the NVC mail, you got a check list froM GUZ Embassy stating the documents they want , do we need return this check list to NVC ? Can you scan this check list for reference ?

For the EMS Labels, do we need write Beneficial name and address on it and pay in advance ? I am living in China but I do not know how to pay in advance and not mail .

I was so so upset these days as I fail to talk to my husband for two days for the mistake on MSN. Terrible missing, we can only stay together three times every year, as both of us need work. Get impatience I am .

Thanks a lot for all your help.

Lucy

Yes, Lucy i am still reading this forum.

Yes my case has been complete and and move to Guangzhou.

I am not in china, my wife does. It will take Guangzhou about 2-3 months to send her the p3-p4 form anyway.

I don't have anything beyond NVC. If you follow the list above it should be good for medical and interview.

Guangzhou just want you to reply the letter they send you that you want to immigrate.

and yes the EMS label has to be (Beneficial name and address) i don't know if u have to pay it in advance or not.

Since i am not in China i don't know. You may check the post office to see if you want to advance paid or not.

Hope answer your qestion

So as continuation to my last post, we checked with NVC and we are so happy that they accepted the correction even without the coversheet which we still sent but I'm sure they will disregard it. My question is, I have seen the trend that they usually complete the case as soon as the RFE is submitted. If and when it's accepted and case completed, when can we call NVC to ask for the interview date? Our case is CR1 so we don't fall into the K VISA category where they call a certain toll number and schedule their own interview in US embassy- MANILA(only for Philippines). Can we call NVC and ask about the interview date right after the case is completed? Or how many days till we would know the interview date? Or the only way is to wait for packet 4? Thanks.

from what i heard you can get a case complete when you have a RFE.

i don't know if manila is appointment post. you have to check on the embassy.

and other have said NVC schedule the second or the third week of the month

when you case is complete

1. BARCODE COVER SHEET ( JAMES SHORTCUT )

2. DS-230 FORM ( MAYBE NO, AS WE CAN DOWNLOAD FROM WEB )

如果是 RFE for DS-230, BARCODE COVER SHEET from NVC和第一个COVER SHEET 稍有不同, some one called Chris post on how to make shortcut on this somewhere here.

谢!

Coolgt, Guangzhou is next step after NVC, how can NVC send you Guangzhou form ( your first link ) file? Are you sure you get from NVC and need send back to NVC ? This is my big concern as I do not know which files I will get from NVC and which files need send back to NVC when use Shortcut on DS-230.

like i said, nvc just include an checklist from Guangzhou that help you prepare for your interview.

other than that just get what i list above for your ds230 and you will be fine.

don't worry to much on guangzhou when you are not there yet.

My husband just overnighted our AOS I-864EZ but forgot to write our case number on each page of the documents sent. I'm quite sure this will not result in an RFE (possibly just a delay in processing which is in itself bad enough!) but please let me know if I am wrong and we should prepare ourselves for an RFE.

Also, our case is unusual because, for various reasons, our I-864EZ only went in after our DS230. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to process the I-864EZ? I'm hoping it doesn't take longer than the time taken to process the DS230.

thanks!

i look at my I864 form and it clearly state "Print Sponsor's Name" and Sponor's Signature have to hand sign.

but print your name and hand written your name is two different thing.

Old thread, but I couldn't help it... Print name means to handwrite in block letters and type name means to type it in and pring it out. ust something I learnt reading all the forms over and over again..
