The ACLU are probably the dumbest organization I have ever heard of. They make the KKK look like geniuses. Talk about propaganda and fear mongering. Where do they get this #### from.. LMAO

Anyway a good federal privacy policy can help protect personal information. Canada and Australia seem to have decent policies with regards to this.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

it wouldn't suprise me. evertime i call dominoes they already have my address & my last order on file (or maybe more past orders). and some "enlighted" people already want to put a "fat tax" on foods that the "enlighted" feel i shouldn't eat.

I agree; a strong federal privacy act could prevent this sort of thing. Of course, that'd mean it'd have to get passed, but even if the ACLU got thousands of supporters, the very same thing would have to occur anyway. It's not like the ACLU has seats in Congress (or at least, direct ones).

Regardless of what happened, something would have to pass through both chambers in Congress and then be approved by the President and the Supreme Court. If none of the above happened, it wouldn't go through, even if a President's veto was overruled (since the Supreme Court would still have to say the act was constitutional).

In all honesty, I have a lot of trouble believing that even the most security-minded individuals would agree to allow Domino's or Papa John's (or some other non-law enforcement entity) to have access to their personal records. We want protection, sure, but we don't want some high schooler working a part-time job snooping through our credit and medical histories, either.

I think the ACLU is blowing this out of proportion just a little bit. ;)

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
