Wow. So how do you deal with stuff like that? Especially mail for someone who hasn't been in that house for over a decade!

We sometimes still receive mail addressed to the previous homeowner. Some of them official looking from the city government. We've put them back in the mailbox with the note: Addressee no longer in this address. But they still keep sending them to our house.

I can top that. My mom recently received mail addressed to my father at her new apartment.

My father died in 1978.

She has moved four times since then.

And... she doesn't use her apartment's address for mail, she uses my house.

WOW!! That does top mine!

The mail we got today was junk mail. Not worth hunting the dude down for. But it just makes you wonder how long some places keep a mailing list.......

Attorneys are the worst for wasting paper. Have you ever seen how much they print for each case? It's absolutely amazing!

We moved to our house in October.

The previous owner had been here 15 years. Their name was Hardesty.

Today in the mail we got a piece of junk mail for Mr. Cale.

Mr. Cale was the owner who sold to Hardesty.

Was it dated recently? Mr. Cale might still using that address.

It could be worse. Chain letters really suck. Although I haven't seen one of those in snail mail for ages.

My wife receives chain mail text messages. I think it is dumb. However it must be very popular in P.I. She always replys.
