Thank you for the update Blake! I eagerly await your update when you have the time. :)

Well...looks like this week will be a quiet week, with what Cecile being away now too! I hope she is having a lovely time with her family and old friends!

Alex has moved into his new apartment so he does not have the internet yet.

I had a lovely weekend - met lots of new people and yesterday the weather was good enough to go for a walk around a reservoir (we didn't even wear our coats! *gasp*). I'll be moving out this week myself. Have to ask my boss about boxes today so I can pack tonight.

Oooh how exciting Rachel! Don't forget those boxes for sure!

I honestly do not know how I am going to make it through another 60 days before hearing anything! God please let them be wrong about that and have us hear something MUCH sooner!!!!

The USCIS update should happen this week or next which it will then say they are officially processing up to me and Gareth's filing date......sigh....

Yes Rachel! You must be pretty excited!! You who were afraid to ask your parents....and now you're moving in!

That's the beginning of the end somehow... How long are you going to stay over there before you go to Alex?

And Sunny, like everybody here, I always hope to see you getting approved when I come to that thread. :(

I hope they going to move their butts to finally approve you....

My thoughts are still for you! (F)

Blake, I also cannot wait to hear about your update!! :)

Me, I am doing fine! and I enjoy my day off. :D It is gorgeous outside, and I might go for a run today.

It always make me feel good!!

Sunny, I hope this week will be your week!!

And Blake..

Hello everyone, Sorry for being away for so long, I feel like I've abondoned a part of my family. :crying:

You better be sorry!! Leaving me alone for so long with all these women :bonk:

Hmm that's not necessary a bad thing, of course :lol:

As for my own update, I just got back from Amsterdam where I had my medical and x-ray this morning.. all went pretty smooth and if my x-ray and blood come back ok (which I almost know for sure it will be good thanks to the previous tests) then I have passed this part.. I will know this 100% for sure if they do not call me this week tho (the only bad side on this is the contents of my wallet, the total was 245 Euro for me :crying: )... soo.. next stop: interview on August 12th :D

I'm having a lovely time, except that I caught a cold :( so my throat is sore and I have a headache. And today is a very busy day on the roads, so it's better to stay at home.

Yep, just MMR...

The cost were as follows:

155 Euro for the medical exam

40 Euro for the MMR vaccin

50 Euro for the X-Ray

Usually people over here also need to get a booster DTP shot but I already had mine in 2006 when I went to China, I guess it would've been more in that case.

I guess the prices are different in each country since doctors probably ask different amounts of money for it.. hmm, saying that makes me kinda wondering what others have to pay for it. So tell me, what's your damage? xD

Thanks for all the positive vibes you guys! Please keep them headed my way! Just found out I now have to pay 200 a week in daycare until school starts in September too! Just another nail in the coffin so to speak as I wouldn't need to be paying any daycare if Gareth was here already :( GRRRRRRRR. I so want to plan more wedding stuff too and I feel I cannot even do that as now it is becoming more likely we can forget about a fall wedding!

So frustrated and just want our approval :(
