Has someone got an RFE last month and the case got completed

Hi..'

I recieved an RFE last month and i have send the necessary cheklisted docs on the 12 feb...automated mssg says that they have recievd it...anybody has an idea on how long will take for case complete.. Has somebody got an RFE and got the case complete recently...Also after the case complete how long will it take for the interview??? I know too many questions...

also the USCIC shows the processing date as jun..what does that mean...mine was filed before that and yet not completed...

I got an RFE for the DS-230 on Januari 30th for the two passport pictures. They recieved them on Februari 20 and since then we're waiting. When I talked to the operator to find out where the RFE was for they told me that everything was good, just needed to sent the pictures. I heard different stories about the time it takes to get the case completed, it varies between 5 to 21 days (everage).

The time till your interview depends on the embassy it's sent to. Sometimes there is quite a waiting line..........

I'm a little confused about your question regarding the USCIS, since I assumed the first few questions has to do with the NVC (maybe I misunderstood your questions than). The dates given on the USCIS site deal with the approval/disapproval of the visa application (probably in your case the I-129 or I-130). The dates day nothing about a date on which it is completed, just the date on which they started your application. (please correct me if this isn't true)

I'm confused...the first questions are about the NVC and the second are about the USCIC. You need a timeline!

but if your asking about the NVC i have been waiting for cause complete since FEB 20th...they told me 3-4 weeks.

USCIS show the priority date, CR1, IR1 doesn't have limit only other have limit, so USCIS set the priority date in which they include in the set of date for the visa batch

Thanks for ur responses...i was expecting the same...thankuuu...well I dint call the operator but the automatic system says that they have the docs on 21st feb...it took a week for them to enter in to the system...anyways lets hope for the best....

Just heard my case was completed on Februari 25!!!!!

The RFE (passport pictures) was entered into their system on the 20th so it took only 5 days to complete : )

Congratulations and thanks for sharing this info. My RFE entered on 02.25 so I guess my hopes are not too high if I want hear "Case complete " on this saturday.

this gives me hope my passport pictures where also entered on 2-20-08!!!!!!!!!!!! but i called this morning and did not hear case ocmplete !!!

but i will call again tonight maybe i will hear CASE COMPLETE!

Karla 5001 if you're going to call automated system call tuesday and saturday morning (ocasionally thursday)because on monday, friday nights system gets updates.

Not apply to calls to operators. They know.

How do you know that your RFE was entered into the system? What does the automated message say?

After they entered in my RFE, the message changed to something along the lines of they had received my checklist response and I would be notified of the outcome in 6-8 weeks. About a week after that the message changed to "Case complete".

You could also talk to an operator and see if they will give you an info
