Looks like it has been transferred to your local office, possibly for an interview.

More likely, since he sent his application to TSC - it is simply reflecting the transfer to VSC - Since TSC is not accepting I-751 applications anymore and is transferring any received to VSC.

I myself had (still have) the exact same message on my online status - And I was just approved direct from VSC... no interview.

Hehehe - Seems I had a stealth approval LAST WEEK! - My online status still shows pending, but I got home this evening and what do you know? The biggest surprise i've ever had... Not ONLY my approval notice, but also my 10 Year Green Card!!!!
I was so surprised i left my keys out there in the mailbox!

I didn't notice that the OP received just days after she sent it in. That does mean it is at VSC.

Probably a stupid and obvious question, but I sent in my application for removal of conditions in May 08 (I am in Orlando, FL and sent to Texas) and the most recent status on USCIS website says This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred (and that was last updated in Sept.)

How do I know where it's been transferred to?

It has most likely been transfered to VSC (Vermont Service center). All applications that were sent to Texas were sent to VSC. Those applying for removal of conditions have to send their applications to either CSC or VSC.

The recent email I received says "This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred ". So, it could be either for a future interview or my approval is approaching and my paperwork is back to USCIS Dallas Office. Either way, I let you know if I receive a notification via mail or future notifications.

most recent status on USCIS website says This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred (and that was last updated in Sept.)

If his status had been updated recently I would agree with you that his application is at a local office for possible interview, But It has not been updated since Sept 08. Otherwise he would have a interview date/approval and that would put him ahead of alot of people.

The message that you see on the website is a standard one. The only meaning behind it, is the fact that your case is pending in VSC. It does NOT mean you will have an interview or anything like that.

I have been looking at this message for the last nine months.

AGAIN MY STATUS STATES THE EXACT SAME.

wow, If that is the case, there was a space of seven months between those two messages in my case. I hope that my approval doesn't take longer than what the timeline shows.

IMPORTANT!

Before you edit this list, please make sure that your VJ Text Editor setting is set
