Hey, let me add my good thoughts that Monday you'll hear something! This whole process is terribly stressful. I'm trying to plan a wedding too and wish he were here so he could be a little more involved -- well, as involved as men get in planning the wedding! He could at least pretend and nod dutifully, right?

Does anyone ever wonder what the real statistics are on approvals for London? I know that we, nor the IM2US site are not by any means an exhaustive list of all the people who apply for waivers. I just can't help wondering how many people are approved as opposed to denied? Anyone else care to speculate?

Anyway, here's hoping good things for all of us!

Well cmltdg all I can say is that I've been on this site and immigrate2us.net since about April of last year. I have never seen a denial from London. If there has been they didn't come back on to say so. I hope by saying that it doesn't jinx anything. I don't know why that is. I have seen several rejections from other countries but so far not London. Lets keep hoping it stays that way.

Just a quick post to add my good wishes for some good news for jpkeswim!!

it would sure be nice to hear some more approved's on this forum, and would certainly give the rest of us heart!

Hey does anyone know how long the embassy takes to get back to you via e-mail (if they do at all?). I sent them one a few days ago with all my details in the subject header but still no word. God I hope they've kept the original documented evidence submitted with that original I-601 on the 2nd Feb., or I'm down sh#t creek without a paddle!

Hi Paul

I read a while back that it was best to send your email late in the evening. That way it comes up towards the top of the list the next day. I send mine that way and received an email back the very next morning. Good luck on getting a straight answer. All they gave me was the run around.

Good luck,

Baileyj

No news today :( I only slept a couple of hours last night I was so sure the call would come this morning. This is exhausting. Tom has to work alot of double shifts this week but next week he is taking a holiday and he wants to take me to Scotland to show me his homeland... but if we still have heard nothing we will just have to sit home and wait... and wait...

Wouldn't it be nice if they would make us happy for Valentines day. That was why I really thought they would call today. We are lucky to be together right now but the months we have had apart during other parts of the journey have been hell. I just cannot leave without knowing.
