hello everyone! it's our 1st wedding anniversary today :( and does somebody else experienced this also.. how did u guys managed to make it a special day.. i mean how did u celebrate it apart.. or any suggestion? am here alone in my room, enjoying a bottle of Novelino white wine :D

usually on special occasions me and my husband take the time to get all dressed up, like were going on a date or something with each other and then spend the day talking on the mic & on cameras. we eat together, drink together and try to pretend we are together. sounds kind of ...lame..but it usually goes pretty good for us :)

I'm sending her a care package for our 1 year anniversary - of meeting, but we're not married. The dressing up and dating over video cam is good. The most important thing is just remembering and focusing on talking about the good times, happy memories, and future plans.

that was so sweet to do!! my day is hell... no greetings, no sweet things! DAMN! and am feeling so terribly mad cuz am not expecting that a very important and special day for me is NOTHING for him.. he's such so insensitive to every important ocassions. no cards, not even a thought of sweet greeting as i woke up! SH*T!!!

Happy Anniversary! I know how hard to be apart for your partner in life. We spent three years apart ourselves.

My husband and I are together now, this month we will have a double celebration for Valentines and which is also his birthday :whistle: . First we will have our own celebration at home and second We will go out eat in the restaurant together with my in laws.

Our 1st wedding anniversary is next month, March 14 wow! Time goes so quick I been here now in the US for a year!

While you are apart you need to communicate, by phone, email, cards and letters. It is hard to be apart, but the time apart will quickly fade away when your visa wait ends and you will be here. Hang in there!
