Hello,

Someone pointed out in another post that I should write to the Ombudsman to report a problem regarding USCIS staff.

It reminded me we already wrote twice via registered mail to the Ombudsman enquiring about the overdue of our petitions... and even though he got the mails, he never bothered answering to our questions.

Did any of you have more chance with the Ombudsman and were many of you being ignored as well?

I-129F:

Our I-129F was approved in 201 days from our filing date.

Children's I-130:

01/26/08 I-130 sent to CSC

02/20/08 NOA 1

09/10/08 NOA 2 for two of the children.

09/12/08 NOA 2 for the third child.

03/31/08 Arrival in the U.S.

AOS:

I-485, G-325A, I-765, I-131.

05/29/08 AOS sent for Christine and the children.

06/10/2008 NOA 1

07/01/2008 Biometrics

07/18, 23 and 25/08 Physicals

08/30/08 Employment Authorisation (valid for 1 year)

08/30/08 Authorisation for Parole

11/19/08 SSN (valid for work only)

12/04/08 Initial Interview appointment / Rescheduling requested

02/03/09 Interview appointment / very easy, very nice officer, not too many questions, our evidences were enough

02/03/09 Green Card granted for the four of us

02/16/09 Green Cards arrived in the mail

During yesterday's teleconference, we were advised to complete DHS Form 7001 and mail it in. They apparently need your signed permission because of privacy regulations. They will only investigate your case under certain circumstances.

7/30/2007 - Received by TSC

8/30/2007 - NOA-1 - Fee waived

3/19/2008 - NOA2

4/3/2008 - Received by NVC

4/10/2008 - Received by embassy

4/11/2008 - Faxed packet 3 forms to embassy

4/30/2008 - Appointment date assigned

6/19/2008 - Appointment at Bogota Embassy - APPROVED!!!

No touches except when I called CSC directly to inquire.

8/28/2008 - POE Houston

Still being lazy and waiting to do AOS.

*I-130 and I-129F sent together to TSC per USCIS instructions.

Yes that is what my husband did TWICE, he filled in this form and sent it registered mail since they would not accept it faxed.

I sent them an e-mail stating my concerns regarding a consulate member and was replied to within hours, not with the answer I wanted be still an answer, which was "sorry we can't help you as this is a legal matter". Now I have been waiting for 5 months for a reply from Emilio Gonzalez's office, I find it difficult for them to not see a 2.8 lb package that I have documentation of having been signed for.

I hope you get a reply soon and it is the one you want.

07/22/2009 - Recieved request for DS-221 and notarized letter of intent

07/31/2009 - Montreal recieves thier final requested doc.

09/01/2009 - Visa approved and mail out today
