I am filling out I-134 Affidavit of support towards my upcoming K1 Visa Interview.

I plan on being at the interview, ......do I have then to notarize this document? or am I sworn by the consular officer?immigration officer?

this has to do with the last section of this form where there is an Oath

Any notary can notarize it for you. Most banks have one, and if you have an account with one, you can ussualy get it for free.

You do NOT have to notarize form I-134.

It says, "For this reason, it is not necessary to sign Form I-134 before a notary, nor to have your signature notarize after you sign it."

I-134 does not need to be notarized. Just sign and date and give them the original.

I didn't have mine notarized. it was not an issue. Did it say somewhere that this is expected?
