Today we received a notice in the mail that our interview was cancelled "for unforeseen circumstances." #######?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

ive seen 3 or 4 people have interviews cancelled from jan and feb filers. i think uscis is just pushing it back cause there behind.

damn, we were hoping to get AP today to travel this weekend. but if you dont got it, i guess we wont cause yours was approved 2 days before. did anyone else get AP document yet that was approved last week?

My wife's AP was approved on April 24 and we received the AP yesterday with the mail.

cool, gives us hope that itll come today when i get home from work, or tomorrow.

Today we received a notice in the mail that our interview was cancelled "for unforeseen circumstances." #######?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I have heard of this happening before and then when the couple doesn't show up at the there scheduled interview they get notification that there case has been abandoned. If you live close to your office then i suggest going either way. If not, try setting up an infopass appointment to get some more information.

Guys,

About interview cancellations: I have a whole forum where people went for the first date scheduled anyway, and turned out officers had no idea appointments were cancelled. And on that forum, many suggest to go for the cancelled date regardless in order not to procrastinate the whole process...

If I were you, I would at least call and not believe the office just like that...With so many people working on each of our cases, errors are always possible, and I would not want any of us to become victims of such stupid mistakes.

Please call the office and make sure everything is right...

I received my AP today too! :lol::dancing: It was approved on the 24th too. There's 2 copies inside the envelope. Is that what it's supposed to be?

12/24/2021 - Appeal sent back with I-912 waiver

12/24/2021 - Motion to terminate deportation proceedings from 2013 filed

I have a question....is "the notice" the actual EAD card or does the card come later.

Yes, the notice is the card itself...

I got an actual EAD card that's the size of a drivers license with my picture on it and an expiration date. The AP is a notice.

01/29/2008 - Packet Received by Chicago, IL

02/07/2008 - Checks Cashed, Received NOA 1-765, 1-485, 1-131, I-130 (AOS transfered to MSC)

02/14/2008 - NOA for Biometrics appointment received

02/28/2008 - Biometrics Appointment- 9am

03/19/2008 - EAD card production ordered

03/14/2008 - AP approved and mailed!!!!!!

03/20/2008 - Touch on AP

03/21/2008 - Touch on EAD, EAD mailed!!!!!

03/24/2005 - EAD received in mail! Touch on EAD, weird.

03/27/2008 - AP received in mail!

07/07/2008 - Received Interview Notice

08/29/2008 - Interview in San Jose, CA at 11am

09/03/2008- Card Production ordered!!!

09/06/2008- Welcome letter received (kind of funny considering I have been in the US for 8 years!)

09/09/2008- Green Card Received in Mail! Next step Naturalization in 3 years!!!

I received my AP today too! :lol::dancing: It was approved on the 24th too. There's 2 copies inside the envelope. Is that what it's supposed to be?

Well guess what my AP was in the mailbox this morning, approved 04/24. :lol:

Aug 2003 first icebreaker ;-)

2003 - 2006 letters, letters, letters

Aug 2006 met at regatta in Greece

03/20/2007 I-129f mailed to TSC

08/06/2007 NOA-2, 118 days from the 1st notice.

10/24/2007 Interview in Moscow, visa approved

12/06/2007 Entered at JFK, got EAD stamp.

01/25/2008 Married in St. Augustine, FL

02/19/2008 AOS package mailed

09/30/2008 AOS interview - APPROVED!

10/11/2008 Green card in the mail

01/14/2009 Our little girl, Fiona Elizabeth, was born on Jan. 14, 2009 :-)

Well, I got the EAD yesterday... I just hope that AP didn't get lost in the mail!!!

02/18/2008 - Delivered

02/26/08 - Check cashed

02/28/08 - Received 3 noa's in mail : AOS, EAD and AP, Notice Date 02/25/08

03/11/08 - I-485 Transferred to CSC... EAD and AP still not in online system

03/12/08 - Boimetrics

03/22/08 - Touched

03/24/08 - Touched

04/04/08 - Touched

04/22/08 - EAD card production ordered, AP approval notice sent

04/29/08 - EAD Approval Notice Sent

05/02/08 - EAD arrived in mail

05/09/08 - AP touched

05/13/08 - AOS APPROVED!!!!!!

05/14/08 - AP arrived in mail

05/16/08 - Approval notice sent
