Woohoo! just got an email saying that my advanced parole has been approved!

thats pretty quick, only 37 days since the NOA. lets just hope that the EAD comes soon...

PS. looking at my cases online, my I-129F from the K1 has been touched again...

For anyone living in Arizona, just a quick question...has anyone applied for the drivers license before they got their greencard and if so, how did you go about it?

I got my drivers license in tucson by using just my passport. they only made it valid til the end date on my K1 though so i think i will have to get it extended once the aos gets going

Well, I just attended my biometrics appointment in Saint Paul, MN. It took about half an hour. I showed my passport but the woman at security asked if I had any other ID. I told her that I had my learner's permit which she accepted and attached it to a form which I was supposed to fill out. She gave me a number and I was called after about 10mins. After I was finished, they gave me an evaluation form for the service center. I ended up forgetting my permit at the service center and they called me while I was on the road. The staff there are quite friendly. It went very well...

It was a good thing they called me back bcos I have my skills test tomorrow... It would have been a bit difficult having the skills test without it...

I can't access my online case status. Anybody who applied around FEB20 have the same problem?

I know there could be this delay, I am just courious.

On March 11, 2008, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. this is what it said when i went to check my status on the internet and i am scared what the hell do they mean by more info?? i checked everything 3,000 times before sending from what is said here on the net and also sent more then needed was i supposed to send my hubby as proof come on. besides that we did our biometrics yesterday it took like 20 mins with filing paper work, they were nice people. all guys lol.

This means that you are going to recieve an RFE. There is a way to call the national service line to find out what they are looking for. That way you can have the information prepared as soon as you get the RFE letter.

If you look on the forums for the "RFE trick" you should be able to find out how to call. In this case it would not be a trick you would be calling to find out about an RFE.

Don't panic! its just an RFE. Not a biggie. You either forgot something, or misread the instructions, or they lost something. Just send whatever they want and you'll be fine.

I guess I am going curious if you can track tour case after infopass. If they can help you during Infopass I will do the same thing.

Mine was received on February 20th as well. However, I still am not able to see any of the applications online. I am not too worried about it though, it will show up eventually.
