Rambaldi, the estimation is easy.

It seems they process the NOA's as soon as the paperwork is considered received on their ends. As they have caught up with the receiving backlog, it is just a matter of snail mail to get to you.

I would call customer service. The check cashing doesn't matter so much as long as you have NOA's.

Hi Tim-

I went to the town clerks office and filled out some paperwork, then each state has a different waiting period (MA was 3 days I believe). After that, I just had a justice of the peace perform the ceremony and they mailed me a marriage certificate. It's pretty simple. Good luck!

They said it could take up to 15 weeks to issue a receipt *sigh*
