Baked mac and cheese.

I worked out for an extra 45 minutes today so I can enjoy it.

*DROOL* I love baked mac n cheese, MMMM!! I went to Justin Timberlake's restaurant in NYC and they had the BEST southern baked mac n cheese I ever ate!

Tonight, homemade fries with veggie chili on top and cheese!

Veggie Chili sounds really good!

I just finished making fried rice. Also going to have some beets on the side, just because I like them and we have some fresh ones!

We had asparagus, ham and red pepper omelettes tonight. Joe was selected for jury duty this week and we had no idea what time he would be home so omelettes were quick and easy.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

It's my youngest sons birthday.. so we get to go out for his choice...

I think it will be Sushi! Yummy.....

:o Back from Sushi... Tummy not feeling well...... I think I will stick to the basic good old fashioned comfort food! Really do kids need to broaden their horizons?? Not if Mummy wants to sleep tonight.... Tums anyone?

I made some porkchops last night, and cooked them in the oven in a pineapple juice, ketchup, vinegar sauce. Thickened it up after they were done with some cornstarch and they were very good. Aspergus and wild rice accompanied.

I might go get a chicken from Costco today. I have a hankering for their rotisseriere chicken.

Pork roast and steamed veggies tonight .... with an appetizer of smoked salmon that my FIL smoked himself and my hubby brought back from Vancouver. YUM!!! Hubby also brought back a box of Canadian junkfood, but I am hoping to have enough willpower to avoid that!
