hi all,

me and my fiancee are discussing if we will bring her daughter with us at time of entry or leave her with her grandmother for a few months to reduce the shock of letting her daughter and grand daughter leave at once. as far as i understand but i could have read wrong that my fiancee's daughter does not need her own passport as she will be included on her mothers. now what i need to know is if we decide to bring her in at a later time does my fiancee need to file for the advance parole and bring her in with her own passport or can i go and pick her up myself with her having her own passport issued?

She will require her own passport if the they wish to travel separately.....

YMMV

I think it is also the best practice, if possible, even if they travel together.

No doubt as the DOS strongly encourages all travelers to the US to have there own...

YMMV
