We are planning to file in February and just curious to know how long it would take up to the interview itself. Did any of you who filed last year got an appointment for interview or biometrics yet?

Since June the USCIS has indicated that N-400 applications could take upwards of 18 months... I doubt there has been a lot of activity

YMMV

I filed 26 July, had a long wait for receipt acknowledgment until 26 November. Biometrics 17 December, but have to attend for a re-do of fingerprints as they weren't satisfactory enough for the good ol' FBI. New appointment Tuesday (22 Jan.)

Processing time is bound to be longer than it used to be, but how much longer, for those applying now or near future, is an unknown quantity. Keep watching the forums, especially with regard to your District Office rather than the Service Center. District Offices seem to vary wildly in thir timelines.

The receipting frontlog seems to be over now, so the waiting time will be after biometrics rather than before (as it was for us 2007 applicants).

Good luck!

On the receipt letter I received it stated to expect to hear from them in 425 days - I'm not holding my breath LOL
