Hello everyone,

I will be having my interview next month in Buffalo NY, my husband and i we have some quirries with regards to interview and the papers to bring.

For the papers that is included already in the packet sent in USCIS do we need to have a copy of it all and bring it in the interview? or its fine already coz we already passed it?

About for the joint name, all we have is the letters sent to us in the home were liviing now, i am already his dependent in his insurance and i am already 3 months pregnant now and some pictures of us together.

Since, my husband is so busy also for his work and me still not recover my sickness is it ok that listed above is the only thing we will show?

We are so busy of so many things last month for the AOS packet and this month for always do things for my being pregnant and we thought that the interview will be on last week of March or first week of April but it is so fast morethan we expected. I already pity my husband coz he always go out early or comes late for his work just to do a lot of things for the packet and to be with me for my check up and other things. So, i am thinking if its ok all listed above written in bold letters is enough to prove that were married. Coz, its hurt my back also when i will always ride in the car and sitting down its so tiring:-(

Is anyone can share to me there experience and some of thew things they did? If you think that we need to do more than thde things i am thinking pls let me know so that i will just do it.

Thank you for your help and sharing your thoughts to me and to my husband we appreciate it a lot. :help::thumbs:

Remember, it is your responsibility to show proof that you are a genuine marriage. You have to bring as much proof as possible to convince the immigration officer. You only have joint insurance?

Some of the following would be helpful:

Joint bills (any - like cell phone with 2 lines, or phone, cable, electricity, anything)

Joint bank account

Joint credit card

Life insurance

Car insurance listing both of you

Lease on place you rent, or title if you own

Title to a car (if you bought one recently)

Saying you or your husband were busy is not an excuse for the IO, and I think in an interview it would tick them off to hear that. Be prepared and bring as much as possible.

You can also include any mail addressed to the two of you at the same address from cards or friends or even junk mail. You can write your wills - always a good idea - and include those. You could even include an ultrasond picture of your pregnancy. Congratulations, btw. Yes, bring the originals and another copy of everything you submitted in the original application. You never know if something got lost from your file. Good luck with the interview.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
