Hello VJ-ers, thought I would share this funny email I got yesterday:

As you can see from my timeline, my fiance has been here for almost two months and we are getting married on Saturday. Gee USCIS, thanks for the email four months later!!! Unbelievable! :wacko:

Thank goodness it wasn't an RFE :lol:

15 Sep 2007 Engaged!

25 Jan 2008 Sent I-129F to CSC

28 Jan 2008 I-129F receipted at CSC

29 Jan 2008 NOA1

30 Jan 2008 Touched - filing box here we come....

05 Feb 2008 Hard Copy NOA1 Received in Mail

03 Jun 2008 NOA2

10 Sep 2008 Interview 9:30

16 Jan 2009 Fly back to the USA

?? ??? 2009 Wedding Bells are Ringing

On January 16, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service. If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283. *Current processing times can be found on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov under Case Status and Processing Dates.*** Please do not respond to this e-mail message. Sincerely, The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)

As you can see from my timeline, my fiance has been here for almost two months and we are getting married on Saturday. Gee USCIS, thanks for the email four months later!!! Unbelievable! :wacko:

They have bigger issues then updating e-mails.... They have problems updating the database also... We had to wait 1 months and a half, and set an Infopass to have the "profile" updated into the central SAVE database... However, the USCIS officer say that; she said: "There si nothing wrong here.... all the info is valid and available... " ... she checked a few boxes there and didn't tell us anything, and the very next day we've got a call from SSN Admin that my fiancee profile sudenly showed up ... If we wouldn't do the Infopass, we were probably still waiting for the SSN to verify the EAD issued by USCIS ... Gee ... Government agencies doesn't trust one another at all ... and they didn't recognize documents full of security things issued by another government agency that they are partner with ...

It is just amaizing ...

2006-10-16 - Mailed out I-129

2006-10-24 - Received NOA1 from CSC

2007-01-24 - NOA2 - Approved !!! - Yes!

2007-01-30 - NOA2 - arrived in the mail

2007-02-01 - NVC - Receipt Confirmation date

2007-02-05 - NVC - Receipt arrived in the mail. Case number assigned.

2007-02-09 - Receive at US Emassy - Bucharest - Romania

2007-02-12 - Packet 3 received in the mail

2007-02-14 - Packet 3 shipped back to Embassy

2007-02-23 - Medical exam - Done

2007-02-28 - Visa Interview - VISA in hand ...

2007-04-22 - We broke up

2007-06-16 - Decided to give the 2nd chance

2007-07-02 - Arrival in the US - POE - Denver Intl Airport

2007-09-29 - We've got married!

2007-10-15 - AOS-EAD-AP mailed out

2007-10-25 - NOA

2007-11-29 - Biometrics appointment - DONE!

2007-12-20 - AP - received

2007-12-27 - EAD card received

2007-12-28 - Apply for SSN

--- troubles with EAD verification for SSN----

2007-02-14 - SSN Received

2008-03-11 - AOS Interview - Passed - Green card in the mail within a month

LMAO!!! Nice to see they are working overtime to catch up with the e-mails :wacko: Now if only they would show the same dedication to getting petitions APPROVED!!! :lol:
