The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

I don't like bananas on their own all that much either, but I don't mind them in things... and I love banana bread :)

I don't know why I don't love them... it's partly the texture, and partly that with one or two other ingredients they just seem to take over :wacko:

for the record, i love bananas :P

on another note, my dentist back home is a complete jerk! perhaps even a pompous!!! one. hehe

i went to him about a year ago because one of my wisdom teeth was really hurting...turns out it was coming in crooked and the gum had gotten an infection....so he cleaned me up and said to just leave the tooth, that it will stop trying to erupt in a few days, and then the pain will be gone...well he was right, except that a few months later, the same thing happened again (but this time no infection thank god). so i went to him again and he told me to just leave it alone, i dont know what his problem is, why cant he just rip the damn thing out?! he's like just take advil blah blah blah i really should have just insisted that he take it out, but the pain went away the next day...anyway, so now im at school and dont have dental insurance anymore and the thing is KILLING ME AGAIN! it is like excrutiating pain and i dont know ####### to do...sometimes even when i take medicine, the pain is still there...im so pissed at him right now, i cannot even tell you :angry: im fairly sure that the pain will go away in a day or two, but why should i have to keep on dealing with this when it seems that everyone else just gets the damn thing pulled?! grrrrrr :ranting:

my wisdom teeth came through once, caused me a helluva lot of pain, and then disappeared again, back into the gums :o

I had an x-ray done some time back, showing them deeply buried; the dentist said I shouldn't have any further problem with them, and he's been right so far at least :D

in other news, I like how the poll 'what do you do on the toilet?' is showing on the front page under 'popular immigration discussions' :lol::D

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
