Hello,

Was researching the site, and was unable to find anything regarding this matter, so any help would definitely be appreciated.

My fiance and I are putting together our packets to submit. I live in the States, she lives overseas. I have a certified document stating that she is not lmarried in her country. Is this doucment required for myself too? And how would I go about obtaining this affidavit?

Thanks! Yoru help is truly appreciated!

Its not required of the USC, unless you were to get married in the foreign country.

The Philippine CENOMAR is a required document for your fiance at interview, not for petition filing. The document needs to be fresh at the time of interview. If she's been divorced or had an annulment, you'll need copies of decrees. If never, married, just say so and get the CENOMAR for the interview.

No required unless you were previously married. Then, you would have to produce the divorce decree.
