Happy Valentine's day guys!

I am really worried already...

We sent out our package (I-130, AOS, AP, EAD) almost a month ago and it was received on 15/01. Until now we haven't gotten any NOA's and the checks haven't been cashed yet. Is something wrong? Are they going to send us RFE or what? The only way we can get the Receipt Number is from the cashed checks or from the NOA right?

Am I going to receive the EAD and AP a lot later due to the January delays at the USCIS or I will just get them like 3 months after they received my application?

Thank you so much!

Good luck to everybody!

Timeline

I didn't know you could do I-130 along with AOS and the rest. Our I-130 NOA took 4 weeks or so to get to us. NOA for AOS and EAD was here within a week but since it is a larger package, the timelines might be different for you.

My application, which got received on the 4th of January hasn't still been touched. Checks weren't cashed either.

You did send it to the correct address?

Yeah thats just what I asked myself too.

Did you send it certified and track it??

Yes, I did.

I called them. They said, it was the right address.

I am here in the US with a J-1. So no K-1 or other stuff I applied for in Germany, like most of you guys.

They had you in the system already.

But: they didn't touch my checks yet, so they didn't even look at it, right?

I have sent it from Madison, Wsconsin via Express Mail to:

US Citizenship & Immigration Service

P.O. Box 805887

Chicago, IL 60680-4120

You can if you are applying from a different type of visa other than K-1 or K-3. But not everyone is eligible to file this way.

Sounds like they have not touched it yet,I would wait a little longer and if still nothing happens I would give them a call.

Hey all,

I mailed my AOS on Jan. 22nd to Chicago, IL. They received it on Jan 29th and forwarded it to MSC. My checks were cashed on February 7th. I received my NOA letters in the mail dated (Feb. 4th) on Feb. 7th. And I just got my biometrics appointment NOA Feb. 14th (yesterday!) for Feb. 28th at 9am. I've lived in the US since August 2000 with my parents on my dads work visa and then switched to an F-1 student visa when I started college. I got married to my husband in April 2005. He's in the Army so we had a hard time coming up with the money for the AOS but we finally got it sent off and I couldn't be happier. We also waited to send it b/c we didn't want to have to deal with conditional status. I can't wait to get my EAD so I can start working and making us some real money!

I just got an email update.

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

I was transfered to the CSC, does this mean I have been transferred out? Will we still need a interview - anyone know?
