in my Experience going to AOS interview, photo of you both,bills,insurance with your both name on it,if you have baby bring his/her birth certificate,thats all I remember I bring in our interview...oh yah your birth certificate , marriage contract, if one of you got devorce need that devorce certificate..thats all i remember...

I bet some other Vj'ers here will help you ....

March 2005- Interview in USA EMBASSY in Philippine

April2005 - Waiting for my Police clearance from JApan

May 2005- submit the Police clearance in US EMbassy

June2005 - Waiting for my approval result

June 28 2005- Visa on hand!

July 13 2005- Arrive in USA

June -July 2007- have a notice from USCIS that may interview will be soon..

Aug 2007-- Re-schedule My interview..

sept 2007-- waiting for the new schedule for interview!

Oct.2007-- my son turn 1 year old...

Nov 2007-- I got the schedule for my interview.. so excited

Dec 17 2007- FINALLY the interview ...

Dec 21 2007.card production ordered

Dec 26 2007-Notice E-mailed welcoming the new permanent resident

Jan.2 2008- Approval notice been sent.

Jan 20 2008- Recieve the (10years) GREEN CARD on the mail! FINALLY!

I have no idea but wanted to wish you good luck on your interview....maybe the powers to be will m make a "guide" on what you should bring to an AOS interview.

My N-400 timeline, I hope it will help - Local Office (Chula Vista Field Office - San Diego)

10/01/2010: Application was sent.

10/04/2010: Application was received.

10/06/2010: Email received "Application has been received" & Noticed Date.

10/07/2010: "Touch"

10/08/2010: "Touch" & Check was Cashed

10/09/2010: NOA1 Received via mail.

10/22/2010: Status Changed Online "Request for evidence" It was for Biometrics.

10/25/2010: Request for evidence recieved "Biometrics Notice".

11/18/2010: Biometrics date ==> 11:00AM. Biometrics was taken On time.

12/03/2010: "Yellow Letter" Received.

12/06/2010: "Touch" Case Moved to "Testing and Interview".

12/08/2010: Interview Letter received via mail.

01/13/2011: Interview Date. Done, " Thanks To ALLAH, I Passed the Test.

01/18/2011: Oath Letter was Sent.

01/20/2011: Oath Letter Recieved via mail.

01/28/2011: Oath Date. ==> Done, I am a U.S. Citizen

01/31/2011: Applied for a U.S. Passport Book, And, U.S. Passport Card.

02/25/2011: Passport Book's Received.

02/26/2011: Passport Card's Received.

02/28/2011: Certificate Of Naturalization's Returned.

Im not sure anyone knows what they will ask for. At our interview we took tons of documents. They only asked for 2006 tax return, his passport and birth cert. They didnt ask anything from me not even a question. I say be over prepared than under each officer is different.

Well people above have already jotted down the documentation requirement.

I had almost all of the above mentioned documents with me but you know what..my approver was probably in a rush or may be too easy going!!

Apart from the photographs she did not ask for any other documents. Not even our birth certificates!

Moreover, i spent 200 bucks getting the entire medical done since I applied for my AOS in the 12th month from my medical in home country..but she told me that the medical was also not required.

Its always good and safe to be hundred percent prepared but if you have an interviewer like ours at the end of ething you will feel oh I pulled my hair to hard stressing out!!
