Hey,

I was just taking a look at www.uscis.gov and I found this for I-129 forms. What do they mean about this Accelerated processing? Does anyone know about this and how I can do it?

That is only for form I-129 (petition for nonimmigrant worker), not I-129f.

I find it amusing that the petition for alien fiancee is numbered so closely to a petition for a worker... Maybe that's just me, though.

It's only available for the I-129 and not for the I-129F so K1 filers can't make use of it I'm afraid.

I-129 is not the same as I-129F.

I-129 is for employment visas (NON-Immigrant Workers).

I-129F is for fiancees of US Citizens.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

If you are a business and want to sponsor a foreign employee, you can accelerate it for a fee and move ahead of everything else. Accelerated processing is not available to families. Bringing families together is not nearly as important as lining pockets. OH, and if your sponsored employee flies home and gets married, his or her spouse merely walks into the embassy and gets a visa issued and is here in a couple of weeks, no wait time through CIS, none of this "protecting the homeland" BS to deal with. Keeping wages down and profits up protect the homeland much better than treating non-immigrant visa applicants equally.

Probably not gonna happen for you. I vaguely recall seeing something where they would speed up the entire K-1 Visa process if certain circumstances were present. I'm talking about things like you have recently been told by a doctor that you have less than 4 months to live kinda circumstances. Hopefully this is not the situation for you or your girl.

I believe this accelerated processing is used in only the most dire of situations and is probably, even then, only seldomly granted.

Best of Luck to ya!

Yes.

This is a very rarely used way to speed up the petition, and most people who are eligible already know it. Sorry...

Some people say I'm easily distracted, but that's not... Hey! A squirrel!

Here's hoping you didn't file an I-129 petition.

Thankfully no, I figured they were talking about I-129's in general, meaning any I-129 however this is not the case.

Thanks
