yea on a very hot day which will be in the next couple days, i keep it pretty closed up sun rises on the front and sets to the back during day im gone but leave ac set to automtic come on with like thermostate for the animals but it is just a window unit...for bed i turn that one off...turn on one smaller in bedroom and shut door...and thats my life ha that attic fan is a good investment

true, this guy on tv other day said to save money on elect and energy to always use elect skillet compared to cost of operating the stove

Exactly,Brni. Years ago on real hot, SCORCHING days I would cook the dogs meat on the back porch in an electric skillet. Now days, I just dont want to bother, but I cook really early in the morning.

hum maybe close it all up good at the hottest time and just use it during those very hot hours and just fans rest of time. here also they give box fans away to those that need, if u have pension maybe u would qualify fan beat nothing if your area does same

My lady friend bought me a box fan in May. My good window fan just clonked out on me today. I was thinking if it got over 95 I would put the AC on . The dogs seem to suffer the most.
