Forgive me if this question has already been addressed, but I have not been able to find any info on it so far... When I sent in my I-129f, I included the originals for birth certificates, divorce papers, etc ( I didn't want to risk any problems with copies!!) and now I see that they require originals for the package 3. Do I need to get new originals, or will they already have the ones I sent in with the I-129f?

You have to bring all original documents during the interview and some are also notarized. Good luck!

You will need both copies and originals because they will keep the copies and the original is a proof for the copies.

Good luck!

Thanks for the info!! I have been doing some reading online, and it seems like when you send package 3, you only send in the paperwork(DS-230, DS-156, DS-156K) and you bring in the birth certificates, police records, etc with you to the interview, is that correct? Also, as for the translations, if my fiance is having his interview in Albania, and all of his documents are in Albanian, does he still need to get them translated to English?

the albanian docs dont need to be translated, its ok as long as everything is in english or albanian...

also, for the embassy in tirana, you have to mail EVERYTHING into the consulate...everything on that list i linked you to has to be sent to the consulate via mail...its not like most other consulates where you mail some and bring some...you have to mail all the original ds forms, original notarized 1-134, in addition to the police certificates, birth certificate, etc...im mailing in everything on the list and then bringing all of the i-129f documents to the interview with me
