Do we have to provide copies of EVERYTHING we sent in for AOS for interview?

I'm referring to the original AOS packet. If we do, I realize I have to make a ton of copies. Not sure for the interview if they ask for this info (ex. the I-864 forms w/ BC if joint-sponsor, all 3 years of W2/1040, etc...) cause I have a copy. But I assume they already had it, if they do not. Would I have to ultimately make more copies?

I am not sure you would need copies of everything, but I am pretty sure you should take the originals of all the papers you originally sent copies of. They may want to see the originals at the interview.

Well, I would bring originals of copies of everything I sent (spouse's BC, etc.), but the instructions say "unless already submitted" I guess I don't need to bring the *copies* I-864 or completed medical vaccinations (in sealed envelope) because I already submitted the original. But sometimes rules may change or not apply...argh. And if they do take my copies, those will be my only copies left (I assume they already had everything I sent in for the AOS). But I don't think we'll need anymore copies later after the interview? Hmm..

Bring it all, it can't hurt.

I was going to bring everything anyways. I just wasn't sure if they would have to *KEEP* my copies thus I am "providing" it for them. If that is the case, I need to make a lot more copies. If not, I'll just bring it to them. Show it, and they should be satisfied....

I had 2 copies of our original packet. One to give the Officer incase he ask, and then one for if he wanted it (again). He didn't ask for either. He didn't ask for anything we'd already submitted actually. But thats just us.

A good plan, it is best to have what everything so that you can give it to them if asked for, instead of having to say "I left it at home".

I am just going to give them my only copy to them if they ask for it. Do you think I will need it after the interview or in the future?

Let them know that that is your origional and you want back, they can make copies if needed.

Things like marriage cert, Chinese Birth Cert, ect.. will of course be needed later for other things.
