Hi all

I received this email yesterday from the CIS.

Current Status: We mailed you a decision.

On December 12, 2007, we mailed you a decision on your I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, please contact customer service.

Does anybody know what it means? I thought it should be either "approve" or "denial" or "more evidence".

Jan 06, 2007 - Mailed I-130

Jan 13, 2007 - NOA1 received in snail mail

Mar 22, 2007 - Approved!!!

I-129F

Jan 18, 2007 - Mailed I-129F

Jan 27, 2007 - I-129F Rejection Notice received (used outdated form version)

Jan 29, 2007 - Mailed I-129F (with most up to date form version)

Feb 12, 2007 - NOA1

Mar 22, 2007 - NOA2 Received email from CIS. NOA1 to NOA2 for only 38 days!

Mar 26, 2007 - NVC receive my case

Mar 28, 2007 - NVC sends out my case to HCM Consulate

May 03, 2007 - Packet 3 received

May 04, 2007 - Wife submits Packet 3 at HCM Consulate

Jun 26, 2007 - Packet 4 received

Jul 19, 2007 - Interview PASSED

Jul 20, 2007 - Pick up Visa

Jul 24, 2007 - Arrive Boston (POE LAX)

Nice way to keep you guessing.

If approved you should get other emails like "Welcome letter sent", "ADIT Processing", and "Card Production Ordered"

Keep checking your email.

That is weird, I never heard of a letter like that! Maybe it is a new procedure?

I kinda had the same thing....kept me wondering. Then on the same day I got a welcome to the United States letter and my greencard in the mail....SO...like stated above just keep checking your email.

I'm sure it is fine!!!! :)

Oct 1/09 - I-751 package sent

Oct 3 - package delivered

Oct 5 - NOA mailed

Oct 13 - 1st NOA received and additional letters for my daughters I filed with. NOAs stated Resident Status

has been extended for 1 year and that we will be receiving a letter for an ASC appointment for

fingerprints, photo, and signature.

Dec 2009 - Received 10 year permanent resident card.

Feb 2010 - My children received their 10 year permanent resident cards.

Oct 2010 - My children were legally adopted by my USA Citizen husband.

I think you shouldn't worry for now.. I'm sure.. I'm sure.. I had those message too. I should paste it here..but I only posted APPROVAL and rejection noticed of K2 AOS(Signature issued)

Keep checking your email.

More evidence usually says as much, and approval does as well. If you were approved you'd get the notice welcoming the permanent resident email, then approval notice sent - it would say approval (at least in all cases we see on here).

It doesn't sound great, but you'll know when you get the mail and then can take action from there. If it's a fluke and you are approved, that will be great. Either way, wouldn't stress out until you get the mail.

green card received: may 5, 2007

removal of conditions timeline:

03/26/2009 - received in VSC

07/20/2009 - card production ordered!

You can't always rely on the the current status updates. If I did I would still be waiting for the K1 approval and we have already completed AOS. You will have to wait this one out and see what comes in the next couple of weeks.
