Hi all...I have been reading this site as I have been waiting for our NOA2 to be approved....and I got the approval email today!!!! yay!! I am trying to figure out my next move...I see alot of posts regarding a police clearance being needed but I have not read anything about this...does everyone need this?? Also...when do we schedule the medical? Do we wait for the package 3? Is there good reading material on the next actions I should be taking? Thank you for this website! ok enough ? and ! I am just really excited :dance:

3/05 started dating

06/06 he had to go back to Deutschland :(

10/06 I proposed

07/13/07 sent in I-129F application to CVC

07/23/07 NOA1

07/25/07 touched

12/11/07 touched

12/11/07 NOA2 approved (on website on 12/12/07)!!!!!!!

12/12/07 touched (please send it out!)

12/14/07 hard copy NOA2 receivd in mail...it is so beautiful!

Wait a few weeks for NOA2 to be transfered to NVC, and then call NVC to confirm it is there. It can take 2-4 weeks to transfer to NVC, and another 2-4 weeks to be processed by NVC and transfer to consulate.

Yes at this point start gathering up required documents for visa interview. (Police Cert, Birth Cert, etc..)

You will get instructions from the consulate telling you where and when to do medical.

09/28/2007 : NOA2 (144 days from filing date)

11/02/2007 : NVC Received Case (35 days from NOA2)

11/06/2007 : NVC Sent Case to HCM Consulate

11/16/2007 : HCMC Received Case

11/17/2007 : HCMC Sent Packet 3

11/20/2007 : HCMC Received Packet 3

12/10/2007 : HCMC Called Fiancee (Packet 4 Sent + Interview Date)

12/18/2007 : Packet 4 Received

01/02/2008 : Medical Appointment

01/09/2008 : Interview passed!

01/29/2008 : Visa Received

02/02/2008 : POE @ SFO

Feb. 15, 2008 - Got married

Feb. 29, 2008 - Apllied SSN with married name

Mar. 11, 2008 - Packet mailed (AOS, EAD, & AP)

Mar. 12, 2008 - AOS pkt was delivered

Mar. 18, 2008 - Check cashed!!

Mar. 20, 2008 - Received NOAs for AOS, EAD, & AP as notice date on 17th March

Mar. 25, 2008 - Received Bio. Appointment Letter

Apr. 9, 2008 - Bio. Appointment Date

Apr. 2, 2008 - SS Card received

Apr. 9, 2008 - I-485 and I-765 are online

May. 7, 2008 - Email notification of EAD "card production ordered"/approval of Travel Document

May. 12, 2008 - Received AP in mail

May. 15, 2008 - Received EAD Approval email

May. 17, 2008 - Received EAD card in mail

Aug. 20, 2008 - AOS Interview (Recived Interview Letter on June 27)

Aug. 25, 2008 - Received welcome letter

Sep. 2, 2008 - Received 2 years green card

I-751 Timeline

06/17/2010 - Mailed I-751 packet via Priority mail to VSC

06/19/2010 - Packet was delivered

NOA1 was on 7/23/07...its took 142 days for approval...good luck to you

11/30/2007 = Rec'd NOA1 hard copy in the mail

12/20/2007 = Touched

12/21/2007 = Touched

03/12/2008 = Touched (due to phone call)

03/24/2008 = NOA2!!!!!!!!!
