On 5/24/19 we opened a case with the USCIS Service Center via phone. After receiving no response, we called again on 6/3/19 to submit another case. The following week we received an email response saying that it had not been printed yet and that they would follow up with the California Center. On 7/17/19 we still had not received the card and we called the USCIS Service Center and requested to speak to an upper-level officer. Within a few days, we received an email stating that they had inadvertently approved my son's green card and he now needed biometrics even though he is under 13. We went to our local biometrics office the next day and just walked in. We received the card on 8/29/19. 2020-12-11
