My fiance interview was on 8/31/17 in Kingston Jamaica. At the end of her interview all they said was the interview was over and she is all good to go. But kept her passport and didn't give her any paperwork like a 221g form. Only a form for DHL to track her passport. When I check the status is says administrative processing. What does this mean? I am worried. Please help

Everyone goes through AP before the visa is issued. Only the length is different for everyone.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

It ranges from a few days to weeks to months. Some unlucky people have had to go through AP for a year or more. Right now, just hang tight and check the NVC status checker occasionally to see if it has changed to Issued.

She's been approved for sure. We all go through AP once youve done your interview your case goes straight to AP mine stayed that way for about a month because my medical was outstanding so once you dont have any docs outstanding just give it a few days for updates it will change to issued very soon.

Congrats!  My fiance is in Jamaica as well and although we are way behind you, I'm curious as to how quickly you were able to get appointments for medical and interview.  Is there a long wait period?  Thanks and congrats again!

Oh that's good!  I read somewhere that appointments for interviews were like 60 days out!  We have been waiting 5.5 months and still don't have an NOA2.  I am praying that once we get it things start to speed up!  How was the interview?
