Does anyone know how I would go about drawing up a legally recognized document that the beneficiary can state and declare that he will not seek any type of financial reimbursement or support from me in the event that he is unable to find employment or in the event that we divorced?

I'm not comfortable just having it notarized but I don't want to get screwed over by a lawyer who just draws up some document and we both sign it and then it's not valid in court.

I know that in my state, some courts will recognize a sworn statement by the beneficiary.

Such a huge thanks to everyone for your input on this🙏

Both of you would need their own lawyer.

Should it go to court, there is no certainty that it would prevail on the I-864 - read the links posted earlier.

As in should it go to court, we would each need our own lawyer. So drawing up s document now is pointless...?

No -  "Because their separate interests are at stake, both parties to a premarital contract should (and in some states must) be represented by their own attorneys, or the agreement will not be enforced."

I know this is not what you want to hear, but it is impossible to make your marriage absolutely risk-free.
