They process cases in order (or so they say), so yes, it should be the same. There are people in this thread with many different visa types that are all waiting, come on and join us if you'd like:

Nobody is actually answering question here. Where can I find someone to explain supervisor preview. I spoke to a representative and she said my case has been accelerated to a supervisor for preview

Nobody can exactly answer that question. Only those at USCIS who are working on your case can tell you what they are doing. The only thing we can say that a supervisor review is that a supervisor is reviewing your case. Could be something that came up. Could be they need extra help. Could be nothing but a routine check.

No one is answering it because you never actually asked it. This is the first time you're asking us that question.

 

Are you at the NVC stage?  If you're at the NVC stage, all it means is that your case has taken over six weeks and so they put it in "supervisor review" which can take another six weeks to complete. Your case is outside the normal processing time, so they put it on a "supervisor review" which does absolutely nothing except let the supervisors know how behind their teams are. Pretty much every case at NVC is going into "supervisor review" though and, again, that doesn't really mean anything at all. They are just very behind reviewing mail so cases are taking much longer than usual. All you can do is wait. I've been waiting for 10 weeks.
