As a petitioner, I'd have to show up at the 2nd interview with my fiance even if it'd cost me having to take time off from work, let alone airfare and accomodation can be very costly, etc. However, I'm curious to know if they'd allow me to be there during the interview process since they've mainly required to bring proof of relationship. Is it possible that they might not give an approved visa even though my fiance's passport had already been kept by The CO on the first interview last month? I'm dying to know and any info on this would be appreciated...

Even if they don't allow you in the room for the interview, knowing you are sitting there should have a huge impact.

Yes it is possible they could deny the visa, the embassy keeping her passport does not mean too much.

There are tons of questions floating around in my head.  What did you provide for initial evidence of a genuine relationship?  If you provided a wide range of evidence, what is there that triggered them to question your relationship?  Has your fiancee ever been petitioned before?

The Embassy called for a second interview earlier last week and had asked us to provide an additional documentation such as proof of relationship which I'm afraid they might not convinced as to how genuine our relationship was during the initial process? None of us has ever been petitioned before which leads me to believe they're looking for some loopholes...

Embassy doesn't look for loopholes to deny a person.  Embassy looks for fraud.  Embassy looks for evidence to support the requirements.  Embassy is happy to issue visas.

What did you provide for evidence the first time?  Pictures, chat logs, screen shots of video chat ?

I know fewer and fewer use email/texting or chat .. but this a time where it it very beneficial to "go old school internet"

Now I am getting nervous reading all this.? Me and my fiance met last aug 2016 started the relationship in sept. He visited me in nov and stayed for 9 days. And feb this year he filed the I-129f. Now we got our noa and still waiting for the next step. Yeah it was too fast! We can say that it is really a whirlwind romance. But we are both in love with each other and we make sure we communicate everyday even if he is at work or wherever he is.? Crossing my fingers for this!? Good luck everyone!?

Just saw this post...hilarious haha.  In any case we haven't heard from the OP, I'm curious as to the status as my case is similar.  But I will be at the interview so that should help things.

Nothing to get nervous about, you are not any different that thousands before you.

Make the habit of emailing each other daily.. so you have relationship evidence you can print-out.

Being there is very solid relationship evidence.  Plus a great experience... I am glad I was there.

We didn't have to do another interview. We just had to send in additional evidence. They approved us after that. We've been living happily together for almost two years now. 😀

Edit: Oops. Thought this was a question about ours and don't know how to delete this comment. 😝
