You can't make an appointment at St. Luke's Extension clinic. Here is what we did:

Got NOA2

Got MNL# by calling National Visa Center

Paid for interview

Filled out DS160

Brought the DS160 and SLEC registration form and various other documents to St. Luke's

St. Luke's checks to make sure you have an interview at the embassy - no appointment is necessary

Paid the medical exam fee in cash pesos and had day 1 of medical

Came back the next day for shots

Yes you just walk in, but it's better to fill-out the online registration form and print it before you go so that you won't need to fill it up there.

Here's the link to the online registration: http://www.slec.ph/us/registration/

Yup, fill out the registration form in St. Luke's website first, print it out, and bring that whenever you decide to go to St. Luke's to get medical done. It's first come first serve basis so better come early to finish early. The guard checks for the registration form, passport, appointment letter, ds160 in your case (coz mine is ds260).. you can pay the medical fee there at the cashier, it's Php 11, 300

I think there's a pinned detailed walkthrough here in the forum about St. Luke's medical exam.. you can check that as well.

Hi everyone,

Do you have to file the DS-160 online before you can schedule the interview? It's not clear from all of the info I've read.

Please help! Really stressed. Thank you.

No. DS-160 does not have to be completed before you schedule the interview, but it does have to be completed before you complete the medical at St. Luke's

Thank you Russ and Hank for the quick responses. I'm trying to forensically piece together this entire process.

Hank, on your site you said "keep close track of the visa validity date (when you receive as it is tied to the initial medical date, so you will be short of the 6 months, you may only have 90 to 120 days before the visa expires." I'm not quite sure I understand this 100%. What does the 90 to 120 days refer to?
