My I-485 Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview

Hey all!

I did biometrics July 21st. I checked online 2 weeks later out of curiosity (The online system is so slow) and saw "As of July 28, 2015 Your Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" We will schedule your interview and send you a notice."

Does any one know how long this part takes? Could I get EAD before interview?

I have a job lined up and literally cannot wait to work!!

Notice Of Action for all forms: 07/01/15
Biometrics Appointment sent: 07/01/15
Biometrics Appointment date: 07/21/15

Case Status Via Online: As of JULY 28, 2015 we are ready to schedule interview.

EAD/AP Approved: 08/27/15

EAD Mailed: 09/01/15

EAD Received: 09/04/15

Green card interview : nov 2015

2 year green card received: 12/22/15

Does any one know how long this part takes? It means that the the interview will be the next step, however it could be anytime or even weeks from now, there is no specific time, you will receive a letter with your interview appointment date.

Could I get EAD before interview? If you applied for you EAD when you submitted your AOS packet you should receive it approximately 90 days from when they received the packet.

21 Aug 2013: I-129F Sent

11 Feb 2014: Visa APPROVED!

20 May 2014: Wedding!
